University of Ghana Plastic Recycling Project (UGPRP)

The University of Ghana Plastic Recycling Project (UGPRP) is a student-led initiative based at the Institute of Environmental and Sanitation Studies (IESS) and supported by the Vice-Chancellor’s Green Project.

Ghana Recycling Initiative by Private Enterprises (GRIPE)

Industry-led coalition formed under the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) with a stake in the plastics sector to integrate sustainable waste management solutions, particularly around plastics; promotes sustainability actions and plastic recycling

The Ghana National Plastic Action Partnership (NPAP)

The Ghana NPAP is undertaking a scoping and diagnostic exercise in Ghana to identify interventions that will have the greatest impact within the plastics value chain and oversee the preparation and establishment of an evidence-based baseline.

UNDP- Coca-Cola Foundation Project

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the Coca-Cola Foundation (TCCF), out doored a new project in support of Ghana’s efforts to promote a circular economy in the plastic waste management sector.
